HOW TO

traditional fried tempeh

1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon ground coriander
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup tempura mix
1 cup water
10 oz Tempeh malang
1/3 cup canola oil

Kecap sauce:
Thinly sliced 1 small shallot. Add some sliced red chilli pepper. And about 4-5 tablespoon of Indonesian Sweet Soy Sauce.

Mixed tempura mix, salt, coriander, garlic powder, and water. Sliced tempe into 1/4 inch strips. heat dip in the batter mix and fried until golden, turn and fry the other side. Serve with Kecap sauce.
